How to complete a Waybill

The waybill is the most important document in our industry.
The instructions and detail on this document provides XPS with information that ensures on time delivery of your parcel. The more detail we have the easier for us to deliver. We use postal codes to sort your freight; therefore the wrong postal code will lead to a delay in the delivery of your parcel. Please note that XPS do not deliver to PO Box addresses - we deliver to your door.

1.SENDER: Comapny name or individual name
2.SENDER'S ADDRESS: Building name/number, street, suburb
3.SENDER'S CITY and postal code
4. sender's reference:
Telephone number, department,
floor, sender's name

3.postal code: The correct postal code is extremely important
as XPS uses entered postal code for parcel sorting. Incorrect postal codes invariably lead to misrouting and delays.

4. receiver's reference:
Telephone number, department, floor, receiver's name

PAYMENT DETAILS

This is marked depending on who pays freightage. Sender, receiver or third party.

1.account number: The full and complete number to be inserted.
2.credit card payment: The full and complete number to be inserted.

2.Automatic liability: Charged unless otherwise indicated.

Please confirm delivery commitments to outlying regional destinations and remote areas with your local branch or call centre.

Delivery Speed Indicator

A. XP1 - before 09h00 next day to main and regional centres.
A. XP2 - before 17h00 next day to main and regional centres.
A. XP3 - on 2nd business day to main and regional centres.
A. XP4 - same day delivery to main and regional centres.

PARCEL CONTENTS

Please declare these correctly to avoid disputes in the case of a claim. Certain goods are forbidden - items such as cash, weapons, live animals etc are not moved by XPS (if in doubt, check with your XPS branch)

1.Total number of pieces: Pieces that go to the same destination, on the same day and via the same service type. To be completed by sender.
2.Signature: Print name and signature of person completeing the waybill, acknowledging our terms and conditions.
2.MASS/Dimension data: Measured by calibrated scales and dimensioners and completed by your XPS office.
